For more than a decade, Objectia has developed software solutions enabling manufacturers worldwide to monitor their production processes. Founded in 1994 to build a data acquisition product for the Australian printing industry, Objectia developed a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) product that communicated exclusively with the German-made gbo Kienzle Production Data Recorders (PDR). Today, Objectia continues to develop this same product, Objectia's Kienzle Server, along with numerous other SCADA software solutions boasting multi-vendor hardware connectivity and third party software applications integration using standardised interfacing technologies.

To become the leading developer of intuitive, scaleable, distributed Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software solutions to small and medium sized businesses worldwide, through the creative implementation and integration of leading edge technologies.

Objectia is an Australian-based, privately owned company that was incorporated more than a decade ago. At that time, businesses worldwide showed unprecedented interest in obtaining and utilizing the plethora of information available to them from their production processes. Most SCADA solutions providers produced software packages that catered specifically for large enterprises in the mistaken belief that it was only they that would have the need (...and money) to invest in this technology.

Small and medium sized businesses have the same need, often being the ones that benefit most from the insights obtained form the careful analysis of their production data. It is these businesses that experience the greatest benefits because small modifications to their production processes (feeding back analysed data) manifest themselves as substantial savings in operating costs and increased productivity.

This is where Objectia fits in. We recognize that not all businesses can dedicate one or more members of staff to the development and maintenance of a SCADA solution. We also recognize that most businesses want their production data channelled directly into the existing desktop tools that staff members use on a daily basis (...preventing unnecessary investment in expensive training programs).
